Bonfiglioli

In 1956, the Italian based company Bonfligioli was established. A lot of practical knowledge was inserted by the founder Clementino Bonfiglioli. He studied engineering and had years of experience in the design and manufacture of gearboxes for agricultural machinery and motorcycles, including well-known names like Ducati. During the 1960s a transition took place in the area around Bonfligioli, the demand for the packaging industry rose out of proportions. Bonfligioli quickly responded to this new development by developing and manufacturing a range of power transmission gearboxes that set new standards for the automation industry. Today Bonfiglioli counts nearly 3600 employees.
