The (2) wheel and axle which operates on the principle of a rotating wheel that moves a cable in a linear motion. And the (3) cam which functions on the principle similar to that of a wedge. Hydraulic Cylinder, a Hydraulic cylinder is a devise that is used to create a linear power by using hydraulic fluid. This Hydraulic Cylinder is made up by a metal casket and within this casket there is a piston with a piston rod. The movement of the hydraulic cylinder is based on the law of Pascal. Which states, that by inserting a fluid (mostly oil) under low pressure on one side of the cylinder, the piston rod will move in a linear direction and in able to deliver a high amount of power.
